The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) announced of a scheduled power interruption in parts of Iloilo Province on Saturday, May 3, 2025.
The power outage is set from 2 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Areas to be affected are Iloilo Electric Cooperative (ILECO) 2 (Pototan, Dumangas, Janiuay and Lublub Substations), and ILECO 3 (Natividad and Banate Substations).
The power interruption is due to preventive maintenance activities of Transformer No. 2 at NGCP's Dingle Substation and along the Dingle - Natividad 69kV Line.
Specific affected areas are determined by the electric cooperatives.
"NGCP will exert all efforts to restore power earlier or as scheduled," the advisory added.
