A 17-year-old woman and her six-month-old son were hacked to death in Barangay Talogoy, Malita, Davao Occidental.
According to a report by GMA Super Radyo Davao, the suspect is the woman’s live-in partner.
Based on investigation, the victims’ bodies were already in a state of decomposition and that they may have been killed three days before they were found.
The victims sustained hack wounds in the head and neck.
Authorities recovered the bolo allegedly used in the killing.
It was found that the woman and the suspect had appeared before the barangay due to a family conflict on April 15, 2025.
Police are eyeing jealousy as motive.
Operatives are pursuing the suspect, as of this writing.
