At least 14 polling precincts in Cotabato City failed to transmit election results due to poor signal and other technical issues, as of 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.

Because of the transmittal problems, a manual uploading of results using the USB will be conducted.

“Sa ngayon hinihintay namin yung nga presinto na hindi nakapag-transmit, once ma-recieve namin yung USB nila we will do the physical passes of transmission sa uploading manually,” Maglasang said.

Meanwhile, the submission of election returns from various polling centers for the canvassing continues.

Some police personnel were also seen lining up to submit election returns as they served as special electoral board particularly in Barangay Rosary Heights 10 where a shooting incident occurred a day before the election.

The total number of PNP personnel who served members of the electoral board in Cotabato City is still being determined.

Partial and unofficial results as of 5:02 a.m. showed Mayor Bruce Matabalao is leading with 34,020 votes, while Buth Abu has 23,093 votes.

Meanwhile, Johair Madag leads with 78,755 votes, followed by Datu Bimbo Pasawiran with 25,672 votes in the vice mayoral race.
