The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) proclaimed formally the winners in the mayoral and vice mayoral seats in Cebu City, and other local elective positions.
Incumbent Councilor Nestor Archival clinched the mayoral seat with 256,197 votes to topple incumbent Mayor Raymond Alvin Garcia, while his running mate, former Mayor Tomas Osmeña, defeated incumbent Vice Mayor Dondon Hontiveros after garnering 233,906 votes.
At past 8 a.m. on May 13, 2025, transmission of election results reached 100 percent from Cebu City’s 790 clustered precincts.
Other winners proclaimed are the congressman and councilors in the South District, at about 4 a.m. on May 13, 2025.
Reelectionist congressman Edu Rama was proclaimed defeating a former congressman who sought a comeback, Bebot Abellanosa.
The winning city councilors are Barangay Basak Pardo Chairman Dave Tumulak, reelectionist Councilor Philip Zafra, retired Philippine National Police General Paul aLbra, reelectionist Councilor Jose Abellanosa, Atty. Mikel Rama, reelectionist Councilor Francis Esparis, Dr. Michelle Abella, and Cogon Pardo Barangay Chairman Harry Eran.
Rachel Marguerite “Cutie” del Mar is successful as well at her reelection bid in Cebu City's North District.
Winning councilors in the North District who were also proclaimed are: Winston Pepito, Nice Archival, Harold Kendrick Go, Jaypee Labella, Joel Garganera, Alvin Arcilla, Jun Alcover, and Bebs Andales.
