A man and a woman were found dead inside a boarding house in Barangay R. Castillo, Agdao, Davao City.

According to a report by GMA Super Radyo Davao, the Davao City Police Office (DCPO) said the dead bodies were discovered after another boarder complained about two holes in the ceiling of the rented room.

The man’s body was found lying on top of the woman’s body when the landowner checked the area.

Police said the woman, who worked as a security guard, was estimated to be between 23 to 20 years old, while the man was estimated to be around 20 to 30 years old and about five feet four inches to five feet six inches tall.

The man also had a tattoo on his chest.

Both bodies sustained gunshot wounds in the head.

Based on investigation, the woman entered her room around 3 a.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, and the man followed about 20 minutes later.

The man then left and returned shortly after and that was when a gunshot believed to have come from a firearm was heard.

Authorities recovered a gun, several magazines, two cellphones, a motorcycle, and other personal belongings from the crime scene.

Police are still investigating the incident.
