A tricycle driver died on the spot after he was shot by motorcycle-riding suspect in Barangay Lasangan, General Salipad K. Pendatun, Maguindanao del Sur morning on Friday, May 16, 2025.
Based on initial investigation, the victim was identified as Mohammad Silongan, a resident of Lambayong, Sultan Kudarat.
According to reports, the victim was on his way home, driving his tricycle loaded with goods, when the unidentified gunman approached and shot him.
Police are investigating the incident to identify the assailant and determine the motive.
