Police arrested a Chinese and a Korean national during a drug operation in Barangay Pampang, Angeles City.
The suspects, 28 and 38 years old, both lived in an apartment in Barangay Margot.
Authorities caught them with two sachets of suspected shabu weighing about five grams, worth an estimated P34,000.
However, the operation’s main target—alias “Boss,” who is on the police watchlist—managed to escape. A follow-up operation is ongoing to locate him.
The Angeles City Police, with support from the Regional Intelligence Unit of PRO-3, led the operation. The suspects now face charges for violating Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
They remain in the custody of the Angeles City Drug Enforcement Unit for documentation and legal proceedings.
