Authorities arrested four people and seized suspected shabu worth more than P2 million in separate buy-bust operations in Iligan City, Bukidnon, and Misamis Oriental.
Personnel of the Iligan City Police Office arrested a 25-year-old man during an operation in Barangay Tambacan, Iligan City on May 14, 2025.
Confiscated from the suspect were sachets of suspected shabu weighing around 25 grams with an estimated value of P170,000.
The next day, anti-illegal drug operatives of Kalilangan Municipal Station in Bukidnon arrested a farmer from Barangay Capinunan, Cabanglasan town for alleged involvement in the illegal drug trade.
Seized from the suspect were sachets of suspects shabu worth more than P1.1 million and personal belongings.
On the same day, personnel of Tagoloan Municipal Station in Misamis Oriental arrested two men.
Confiscated from the suspects were nine sachets of suspected shabu worth around P748,000.
“We salute the dedication and courage of our personnel. These operations reflect our unwavering commitment to rid our communities of illegal drugs and ensure a safer, drug-free Northern Mindanao,” Police Regional Office-Northern Mindanao (PRO-10) Director, Brigadier General Jaysen De Guzman, said.
