A 17-year-old girl with physical disability died after she failed to escape from a burning house in Calumpit, Bulacan.
The fire broke out at her home in Barangay Iba O’ Este while she was alone. Her parents were at work at the time of the incident.
According to her aunt, she was doing the laundry when she noticed flames coming from an extension cord connected to her niece’s house.
The Bureau of Fire Protection is still investigating the cause of the fire.
