A 57-year-old man accused of raping a six-year-old girl was arrested in Davao City.
Police arrested the suspect by virtue of a warrant.
Police said the suspect was living in the city when he allegedly raped the victim in 2024. He then went home to Davao de Oro and hid.
The suspect is facing charges for qualified rape of a minor, qualified sexual assault of a minor, child abuse, and acts of lasciviousness.
The suspect is now detained and did not issue a statement.
