The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) 6 has recommended dismissal from the service of at least six police personnel facing administrative cases.
Aside from the six, at least four police personnel are recommended for demotion, three for 20-day suspension, and one subject for one-month suspension.
NAPOLCOM cleared 10 other police personnel from administrative cases after a thorough investigation.
Charges mostly filed against the police personnel are grave misconduct and conduct unbecoming of a police officer.
NAPOLCOM 6, however, has withheld the identities of the six police recommended for dismissal pending appeal.
The complainants will be called up on Friday, May 30, 2025, to receive a copy of the decision.
Police Regional Office (PRO) 6 has vowed to support the recommendation of NAPOLCOM 6 having gone through thorough investigation, it said.
PRO 6 underscored that they will not condone illegal activities by members of their fold.
According to NAPOLCOM 6, the police personnel facing complaints may continue to serve pending an implementation order of the NAPOLCOM decision.
