As investigation into the killing of a couple and their minor son in Bukidnon continues, authorities have come up with a computerized facial composite of the person of interest in the case.
P/Maj. Jayvee Babaan, spokesperson of the Bukidnon Provincial Police Office (BPPO), said the facial composite is based on the description of a witness and may not necessarily how the person of interest looks like, exactly.
“Ang result ng computerized facial composite is based sa statement ng witness it is not 100 percent na ito na talaga ang itsura ng suspect. It will just serve as reference ng investigation kung anong probable na itsura ng subject,” Babaan said.
As of this writing, the police have yet to determine the motive in the killing and the person of interest’s connection to the victims.
The victims were laid to rest on Monday, May 26, three days after the brutal killing. They were killed inside their house in Barangay Managok, Malaybalay City.
The father was 50 years old while the mother was 48 years old. The child was 15 years old.
Police recovered from the crime scene the two alleged weapons, a hammer and a steel pipe, that the person of interest may have used to strike the victims in the head.
The couple’s two other children managed to escape and seek help.
A councilor in the city has offered a P50,000 reward money for information in the case that authorities hope would help in the investigation.
