A motorcycle rider died after crashing into a cement mixer at a construction site in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte.
Based on investigation, the rider was heading east when the accident happened.
The strong impact threw the victim to the ground, causing injuries to different parts of the body.
Paramedics from the Department of Public Safety responded and rushed the victim to the hospital, but doctors declared the rider dead on arrival.
Police remind motorists to drive carefully, especially in areas with ongoing roadwork like the drainage canal construction in the area.
