Three people died after a delivery van crashed into multiple vehicles along Bokawkan Road in Baguio City early morning on Thursday, May 29, 2025.

The closed van, which was carrying car parts for delivery, first hit an oncoming utility vehicle around 3:30 a.m.

According to police, the van was speeding downhill and swerving before it crashed into the vehicle going uphill.

Mary Grace Marron, spokesperson of the Baguio City Police Office, said.

The van continued moving and slammed into several traffic signs, then crashed into a parked SUV and AUV. The impact was so strong that the van’s front was wrecked completely.

Emergency responders used a metal saw to rescue the three men trapped inside the van. All of them, the driver and two delivery helpers, were declared dead.

Police said the victims were not under the influence of alchohol.

The van was on its way to deliver car parts to Baguio City and La Trinidad, Benguet.

The driver was a resident of Marilao, Bulacan, while the origin of the two helpers is still being verified.

The driver of the utility van that was hit first sustained injuries and remains under observation in the hospital.

On-going pa rin ‘yung pag-i-investigate natin,” Marron said.
