To ensure quick response during disasters, with the onset of the rainy season, the Sarangani Police Provincial Office subjected its disaster response equipment to thorough inspection.

At least seven municipal police stations and mobile force units brought their equipment to the provincial headquarters on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.

The equipment – ranging from life vests, medical kits, power tools, ropes, communication devices, to transportation assets – was checked to ensure they are in good condition and ready for immediate use during emergencies such as floods and landslides, which are more likely during this season.

According to the Sarangani Police Provincial Office, the inspection was part of a proactive approach to disaster readiness as the province braces for weather-related incidents.

Any equipment found damaged will be replaced. Equipment may be provided to units whose equipment are found damaged to ensure they are fully operational and capable of swift response.
