The Low Pressure Area (LPA) north of Itbayat, Batanes has developed into Tropical Depression #AuringPH at 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 12, 2025.
#AuringPH is the first Tropical Depression in the Philippines for 2025.
As of 10:00 PM, the center of Tropical Depression AURING was estimated based on all available data at 295 km North of Itbayat, Batanes (23.4°N, 121.5°E), PAGASA said in an update.
"It is moving North northwestward at 15 km/h with maximum sustained winds of 45 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 55 km/h, and central pressure of 1002 hPa," the agency said.
"The extent of Tropical Cyclone Winds is strong winds extend outwards up to 300 from the center," it added.
