The Impasug-ong Bridge, which is part of the Impasug-ong By-Pass Road in Barangay Poblacion, Impasug-ong, Bukidnon, is impassable to all vehicles as of this writing due to scouring of the slope protection at the bridge’s approach, according to the Department of Public Works and Highways-Northern Mindanao (DPWH-10).
In its advisory released on Monday, June 16, 2025, DPWH-10 advised motorists to take the main Sayre Highway via the Kisolon-Lumbo Road as alternative route and to exercise extra caution when passing near the project site.
DPWH-10 said the Bukidnon 1st District Engineering Office has already coordinated with the local government unit (LGU) of Impasug-ong to inform the public.
Barricades have been installed at the site to ensure the safety of motorists and pedestrians.
