Police arrested a man wanted for allegedly raping his live-in partner’s minor daughter in Maragondon, Cavite.
Authorities caught him in Barangay Poblacion, Sual, Pangasinan after months of hiding.
Based on police investigation, the assault began in December 2024 reportedly. The suspect also allegedly threatened the victim to keep her silent.
The victim came forward in February 2025 and reported the abuse to the suspect’s sibling.
Police said the man had served time in prison previously for another rape case in Camarines Norte.
He is now detained in Cavite and faces charges of sexual assault, which he denies.
