A businessman was shot and killed during a robbery at a gas station in Barangay Bagbaguin, Sta. Maria, Bulacan, after trying to fight off suspects who stole his bag and motorcycle.
Closed circuit television (CCTV) footage showed two motorcycles pulling up near where the victim was buying a burger.
Two passengers got off and approached the victim. One grabbed his bag, causing a scuffle, while the other suspect tried to ride off with the victim’s motorcycle.
The victim pushed the suspect off his bike, but was then shot by the man who had taken his bag.
The suspects fled the scene quickly.
The victim was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
Police said they now have leads on the suspects’ identities.
