A 69-year-old habal-habal driver died while another rider was injured after two motorcycles collided in Barangay Dadiangas West, General Santos City.
Based on investigation, the two motorcycles were navigating the road when the accident happened. The habal-habal driver reportedly turned left at the where he crashed into the other motorcycle driven by a 24-year-old rider.
The habal-habal driver died on the spot while the other rider is in critical condition, as of this writing.
The younger rider was believed to be under the influence of alcohol as he reportedly smelled of liquor at that time.
Police are awaiting a possible settlement between the two parties.
