More than 100 households were affected when heavy rains triggered flooding in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon on Thursday, June 26, 2025.
According to the local government, some of the barangays affected were San Martin, Violeta, Simaya, Sto. Niño, and Apo Macote.
A team that would conduct Rapid Damage Assessment and Needs Anaylysis (RDANA) has been deployed to assess the situation and determine the needs of the barangays affected.
Based on initial report, no one died and the flood did not bring serious damage to homes.
Assessment is ongoing, as of this writing, to determine the extent of damage to farmlands and road infrastructure in the affected communities.
