Cebu City Mayor-elect Nestor Archival, Vice Mayor-elect Tomas Osmeña, and members of the City Council under the Bando Osmeña-Pundok Kauswagan (BO-PK) party took their oath of office on Thursday, June 26, 2025.

The program opened with a Holy Mass celebrated by Cebu Archbishop Jose Palma past 9 a.m. at Plaza Sugbo in front of the Cebu City Hall's Legislative Building.

Archival took his oath of office before Inayawan Barangay Chairman Kirk Brian Repollo.

The new mayor thanked everyone who have been instrumental in the success of BO-PK candidates.

Among BO-PK partymates who took oath is the mayor’s niece, Councilor-elect Nyza Nice Archival. Nice brought with her a picture frame of her late father, Atty. Noel Archival.

To recall, Nice's father died in an ambush in Dalaguete town, southern Cebu in 2014.

Incoming Cebu Governor Pamela Baricuatro graced the oathtaking ceremony and vowed support to the Cebu City Government.
