Garbage collectors in Baguio City made a grim discovery of a newborn baby dead inside a trash sack in Barangay Rock Quarry in Baguio City.
According to reports, the collectors noticed blood seeping from the sack. When they opened it, they found the lifeless infant, with the umbilical cord still attached.
Police have launched an investigation to identify the baby's mother and determine who may be responsible for abandoning the child.
