The Social Security System (SSS) in Ilagan City, Isabela is set to charge nine employers for overdue SSS contributions. This move comes as part of a new campaign to recover funds from those who failed to pay for contributions in June 2025.

The agency will collect a total of P282,564 from the nine delinquent employers. Among these, two are not even registered at the local SSS office.

The SSS aims to boost the payment of contributions by employers and ensure that employees can access the benefits they deserve.

The department also plans to launch a race campaign, or “Run After Contribution Evaders,” this June to further urge employers to comply.

The campaign is designed not only to enforce payment but also to educate employers on the importance of regular contributions for the benefit of their employees.
