A fire broke out at a woodcraft storage facility in Barangay San Isidro, General Santos City evening on Thursday, July 3, 2025.

The wooden doors and other items housed at the warehouse were destroyed.

The fire was put out after more than two hours.

No one was reported hurt during the incident.

According to a barangay official, the fire may have been caused by a spark seen inside the warehouse. Workers reportedly tried to put it out but failed to contain it due to the presence of highly flammable materials.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) is still investigating the exact cause of the fire and assessing the cost of damage.

GMA Regional TV One Mindanao is reaching out to the owner of the warehouse for a statement, as of this writing.
