To prevent more accidents, the local government has installed traffic signs, reflectors, and solar studs across the 17-kilometer highway. A speed limit ordinance is also being enforced.

“Ang haba ng highway namin is almost 17 km. End to end nagpalagay niyan. May warning don.

The local government also plans to purchase speed guns and alcohol breath analyzers to catch speeding and drunk drivers. They have also followed up on their request to the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) to install a stoplight at the intersection to regulate traffic flow.
