A tornado was seen swirling in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, afternoon on Thursday, July 9, 2025.
In a video taken by a bus passenger, the tornado can be seen moving across the landscape.
The person who recorded the video said they were traveling when they noticed the large funnel-shaped wind formation.
Authorities have yet to confirm if the tornado caused any damage in the area.
Monitoring and assessment are ongoing.
