Authorities have recovered the body of a missing TNVS driver along a grassy roadside in Barangay Batitang, Zaragoza, Nueva Ecija, after two suspects led the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to the site.
The breakthrough came early morning on Friday, July 11, 2025, after two of the three suspects signed sworn statements in the presence of their lawyers, where they said they are willing to cooperate and reveal where the victim was buried.
The victim, identified only as Cabrera, went missing on May 18, 2025, after picking up three passengers through a booking. Only his vehicle was recovered days later.
According to the suspects' statements, they initially planned a robbery but ended up killing Cabrera while en route to Cavite from Parañaque City.
The investigation is ongoing, while authorities are pursuing full accountability from all those involved.
