At least three individuals were rescued by personnel of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Region 7 Special Rescue Force, while one body was retrieved in Barangay Budlaan (pronounced bud-la-an), upland Cebu City.
One person was found stranded in the vicinity of Mukpok area while the other two near Budlaan Waterfalls.
“Unfortunately, one casualty was also recovered during the operation,” BFP Region 7 Special Rescue Force disclosed in a post.
The Special Rescue Force carried out a high-risk rescue operation at Budlaan Falls in coordination with BFP Cebu City EMS Team and the Cebu City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management-SRS Team.
