Two people, including a 10-year-old boy, were killed allegedly over a seat at a computer shop in Santo Tomas, Davao del Norte.
Police said the incident started when the suspect, allegedly intoxicated at that time, claimed someone had taken his seat at the shop. The suspect allegedly got enraged and his outburst turned violent.
He stabbed the minor victim with a screw driver and hit another victim with a fire extinguisher.
The minor victim sustained injuries in the head and back.
Authorities said there were signs that the suspect may have been under the influence of drugs at that time. He reportedly admitted during interrogation that someone had convinced him to use shabu. However, since the charges against him were related to the killing, he was not made to undergo a drug test.
The suspect is facing murder charges.
