Tropical Depression #CrisingPH continues to move west-southwest afternoon on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, and may bring strong winds and heavy rains to parts of Luzon and Visayas in the coming days, according to PAGASA’s 5 p.m. bulletin.

As of 4 p.m., the center of #CrisingPH was located 625 km east of Virac, Catanduanes, with maximum winds of 45 km/h and gusts of up to 55 km/h. The storm is moving west-southwest at 20 km/h, and its winds extend as far as 280 km from the center.

While no Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) has been raised yet, PAGASA said that Signal No. 1 may be hoisted over parts of Cagayan Valley by tonight or early Thursday.

There is also a chance that Signal No. 1 will be raised over Catanduanes if the system maintains its strength and path.

If #CrisingPH intensifies further, PAGASA may raise up to Signal No. 3 or 4 in affected areas.
