Coast Guard District Central Visayas (CGDCV) has suspended trips in Western Bohol and Northern Cebu due to bad weather condition.
CGDCV suspended trips on July 16, 2025 in Western Bohol for vessels with 15 gross tonnage (GT) and below, and in Northern Cebu for vessels with 35 gross tonnage (GT) and below on July 17, 2025.
“This is based on PAGASA’s weather bulletins issued every four hours, citing rough seas and strong winds,” CGDCV said in its advisory.
“Coast Guard stations have coordinated with LGUs [local government units] and shipping companies for compliance. Monitoring and enforcement are in place to ensure no violations, with penalties for non-compliance,” the advisory added.
