A 52-year-old tricycle driver was stabbed to death by a fellow tricycle driver in Barangay Bugo, Cagayan de Oro City.
The victim sustained at least nine stab wounds in the neck and other parts of his body. He did not reach the hospital alive.
Based on initial investigation, the victim and the suspect figured in an altercation prior to the stabbing.
Emilita Simon, said.
The suspect attempted to flee but was eventually turned over by barangay officials to the police.
The suspect reportedly owned up to the crime and is facing homicide charges.
