Voyages of fiber boats from Iloilo to Guimaras, and vice versa, have been suspended due to the southwest monsoon (Habagat) enhanced by Tropical Depression Crising.

Beginning 8 a.m. on Friday, July 18, 2025, voyages of fiber boats are suspended due to inclement weather.

According to Ensign Marvince Genzola, chief of staff of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Iloilo Station, in an interview with GMA Super Radyo Iloilo, the directive takes effect, until further notice.

However, trips of roll on-roll off (ro-ro) vessels are not affected by the cancellation of trips, Genzola said.

As of this writing, PCG Iloilo Station, is working on consolidation of the number of affected passengers.

The agency has reminded the public to be vigilant about the weather condition and the suspension of sea voyages.
