Visayas PAGASA Regional Services Division issued Heavy Rainfall Warning No. 43 at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 21, 2025, expected to affect areas in Mimaropa Region.

Weather System: Southwest Monsoon (Habagat)

Orange Warning: #OccidentalMindoro (Lubang, Looc, Paluan, Abra De Ilog, Mamburao, Santa Cruz, Sablayan and Calintaan)

Associated Hazard: Flooding is threatening in low-lying areas and landslides in mountainous areas.

Yellow Warning: #OccidentalMindoro (Rizal, San Jose and Magsaysay)

Associated Hazard: Flooding is possible in low-lying areas and landslides in mountainous areas.

Meanwhile, Light to Moderate rains are expected over #Palawan, #Antique(Sebaste, Culasi, Aniniy, Tobias Fornier, Hamtic, San Jose, Sibalom, Patnongon, Belison, Tibiao, Barbaza, Laua-an, Bugasong, Valderrama, San Remigio), #Iloilo (San Joaquin, Miagao, Igbaras, Tubungan, Guimbal), #NegrosOccidental (Hinoba-an, City of Sipalay, Candoni, Cauayan and Ilog) within the next one (1) to two (2) hours.

The above conditions are being experienced in #Antique (Caluya, Libertad, Pandan), #Aklan (Malay, Buruanga, Nabas and Ibajay) which may persist within two (2) to three (3) hours and may affect nearby areas.

The public and the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices concerned are advised to monitor the weather condition and watch for the next warning to be issued at 5 p.m. on July 21, 2025, the advisory added.
