Visayas PAGASA Regional Services Division issued Heavy Rainfall Warning No. 12 at 11 a.m. on July 23, 2025, over areas in Mimaropa and Western Visayas regions. 

Weather System: Southwest Monsoon (Habagat)

Red Warning: #OccidentalMindoro (Lubang, Looc, Paluan, Abra de Ilog, Mamburao, Santa Cruz, Sablayan and Calintaan)

Associated Hazard: SERIOUS FLOODING is expected in low-lying areas and LANDSLIDES in mountainous areas.

Orange Warning: #OccidentalMindoro (Rizal, San Jose and Magsaysay)

Associated Hazard: FLOODING IS THREATENING in low-lying areas and LANDSLIDES in mountainous areas.

Yellow Warning: #Antique, #Aklan (Malay, Buruanga, Nabas, Ibajay), #Guimaras, #Iloilo (San Joaquin, Miagao, Igbaras, Guimbal, Tubungan, Leon, Tigbauan, Oton, Iloilo City, Pavia, San Miguel, Alimodian, Dumangas, Zarraga, Leganes, Santa Barbara, Maasin, Cabatuan, New Lucena), #NegrosOccidental (Calatrava, Toboso, City of Escalante, Sagay City and Cadiz City)

Associated Hazard: FLOODING IS POSSIBLE in low-lying areas and LANDSLIDES in mountainous areas.

Meanwhile, Light to Moderate with occasionally Heavy rains are expected over #Palawan (Magsaysay, Cuyo, El Nido, Taytay, Linapacan), #Iloilo (Barotac Nuevo, Anilao, Dingle, Pototan, Mina, Janiuay, Badiangan, Lambunao, Dueñas, Calinog), #Aklan (Tangalan, Makato, Malinao, Madalag, Libacao), #Capiz (Jamindan, Tapaz), #NegrosOccidental (Pulupandan, Valladolid, Bago City, Murcia, Bacolod City, City of Talisay, Silay City, Enrique B. Magalona, City of Victorias, Manapla, Salvador Benedicto and San Carlos City) within the next two (2) to three (3)hours.

The above conditions are being experienced in #Palawan (Busuanga, Coron, Culion and Agutaya) which may persist within two (2) to three (3) hours and may affect nearby areas.

The public and the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices concerned are advised to monitor the weather condition and watch for the next warning to be issued at 2 p.m. on July 23, 2025.
