A tree fell on a moving tricycle during heavy rain in Barangay Baligatan, City of Ilagan, Isabela around 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, injuring the driver and passenger.
The tricycle was traversing the national highway when the tree toppled suddenly and hit the vehicle. Both victims were rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Authorities cleared the road of the tree quickly.
They reminded the public, especially drivers, to be extra careful when traveling during bad weather.
