The dead body of a newborn boy was found at the entrance of an establishment in Barangay Katangawan, General Santos City morning on Monday, July 28, 2025.
Employees of the establishment were surprised to find the baby when they reported for work.
The baby was wrapped in a blanket and placed inside an eco bag when found.
Authorities responded to the area immediately and took custody of the body.
Police are now conducting a thorough investigation, including gathering copies of CCTV footage to identify the person responsible for leaving the baby.
