After Typhoon #EmongPH left severe damage in Pangasinan, especially in the town of Agno where it first made landfall, residents are now trying to recover with help from relief efforts, including aid from the GMA Kapuso Foundation.

In Agno, many families lost roofs and access to clean water, while others were forced to evacuate during the typhoon.

Kaya wala akong tsinelas kasi naanod,” a resident, who declined to be named, said.

Lumikas lang kami noong natanggal na ‘yung bubong,” Hermina Rodriguez, another resident, added.

Rodriguez is now left with a leaking kitchen whenever it rains.

Power has not yet been fully restored in the area, and potable water remains a concern.

To help address these needs, the GMA Kapuso Foundation, through its Operation Bayanihan, delivered aid to over 1,000 individuals in Agno. The foundation also extended help to other towns in Pangasinan.

Salamat kasi nakarating ‘yung tulong dito,” Rodriguez said.
