A suspected high-value drug personality was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Poblacion, Buguias, Benguet on Thursday, July 31, 2025.
Authorities identified the suspect as a 40-year-old woman they referred to as the “Drug Queen” of Buguias.
Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) seized over 100 grams of suspected shabu from her home. The illegal drugs have an estimated street value of P680,000.
The suspect had previously been jailed for a similar offense, authorities added.
She is now facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. She has yet to release a statement.
