A human skull believed to have been used in a black magic ritual was found at a vacant lot in Barangay Calumpang, General Santos City.

A resident, Marilyn Ason, found the skull wrapped in a cloth while she was cleaning their property. A photo of a man and a woman with their names possibly written on the back was also found in the area.

Tao gyud siya… mga sulat, nangalata man tong ubang sulat, mao to,” Ason said.

Police said the skull may have been taken from a cemetery, possibly for black magic ritual.

Jose Sevilla Tabucon, said.

Another resident, who oversees a public cemetery, suspects that the skull may have been left behind by a man who visited the area a month ago.

Nangutana siya pwede bang makasulod diri giingnan namu dili pwede kay government man ni,” another resident said.

Investigation into the incident continues.

Authorities reminded the public to respect human remains.
