Five students and their parents are summoned by the administrator of La Paz National High School in Iloilo City.

The students were photographed crammed on a motorcycle past noontime on August 5, 2025.

In a GMA Super Radyo Iloilo interview with Noel Tubungbanua, assistant principal of La Paz National High School, he said that the meeting is set on Thursday, August 7, 2025.

The students involved are in senior high school, ages 17 years old. The motorcycle is owned reportedly by an uncle of one of the students.

A concerned citizen sent the photograph to GMA Super Radyo Iloilo and pointed out that only one of the students wore a crash helmet, while one was already seated on the luggage rack.

According to Philippine traffic regulations, only two persons are legally allowed on board a motorcycle — the driver and the person in pillion. More persons crammed on the motorcycle mean serious infraction to road rules and blatant disregard for safety.
