A 63-year-old Dutch national was arrested in Barangay Gawi, Oslob town, Cebu for alleged r@pe.
In a joint operation, authorities from Oslob and from Siquijor Province served a warrant of arrest issued against the Dutch national on August 5, 2025, for a r@pe case filed by the victim in 2024.
It was learned that the incident was perpetrated in San Juan town, Province of Siquijor on July 29, 2024.
Oslob Police said that the suspect has been living in Barangay Gawi for a few years.
The suspect was taken back to Siquijor to face the charges.
