The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has denied claims that a plane crashed in Roxas, Palawan on Wednesday, August 13, 2025.
In a statement, CAAP said all flights in and around Palawan were accounted for, with no incidents, emergencies, or distress calls reported.
“The CAAP’s Philippine Aeronautical Rescue Coordination Center (PARCC), in coordination with air traffic control units, airline operators, and local authorities, has conducted thorough verification and confirms that no aircraft is missing or involved in any mishap,” CAAP said in a statement.
CAAP reminded the public to get information only from official sources and to avoid sharing unverified reports that could cause unnecessary alarm.
