A man allegedly involved in robbery incidents was shot dead in Barangay San Pedro, Pagadian City.
Police said three gunshots were heard, but no one reported the incident immediately due to fear.
Dito tinamaan sa kanang bahagi, tagos rito at sa kanyang dibdib,” Patrolman Ryan Monaza of Pagadian City Police said.
The barangay also said the victim’s wife lives in the area, but the victim himself was not a local resident.
Based on investigation, the victim was reportedly known in the area for theft.
Police are now reviewing CCTV footage near the crime scene to identify the suspects.
The victim’s family did not issue a statement.
