The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines issued an advisory on a scheduled power interruption in parts of Pavia and Santa Barbara, Iloilo on Sunday, August 17, 2025.
The power outage is set from 6 a.m. to noontime.
Areas in ILECO 1 (Pavia Substation) is expected to be affected.
The power interruption stems from a scheduled isolation to facilitate PPC 2 decommissioning activities and line works along the Lapaz 1 - Banuyao 69kV Line.
"Specific affected areas are determined by the Electric Cooperative. NGCP will exert all efforts to restore power earlier or as scheduled," the advisory added.
