Authorities seized more than P6 million worth of marijuana during a buy-bust operation in Baguio City that led to the arrest of two suspects, including a senior citizen.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)–Cordillera said the operation took place in Barangay Cresencia, where agents confiscated two sacks containing 20 packs of marijuana, each weighing one kilo.
Investigators believe the illegal drugs came from Kibungan, Benguet.
The suspects did not give any statement on the complaints they face under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
