A 14-year-old female student died while another was injured after they were electrocuted while playing inside their school in Barangay Mambago-B, Babak District, Samal Island.
Police said the two students, 14 and 15 years old, were playing inside the school premises when they reportedly came into contact with a live wire.
The live wire was connected to an electric post of the Northern Davao Electric Cooperative (NORDECO).
The two were brought to the hospital but the 14-year-old died.
GMA Regional TV One Mindanao is reaching out to the families of the two students, school, and NORDECO for a statement, as of this writing.
