The Low Pressure Area (LPA 08f) is still being monitored inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
As of 8 a.m. on Monday, August 25, 2025, the LPA is spotted east of Guiuan town, Province of Eastern Samar.
According to state weather bureau PAGASA, the LPA has a "low potential" of developing into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.
All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA, the weather advisory added.
