Visayas PAGASA Regional Services Division issued Thunderstorm Advisory No. 13 at 10:24 a.m. on Monday August 25, 2025 on moderate to heavy rainshowers expected over areas in the Visayas and MIMAROPA Regions. 

Moderate to Heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are expected over #Leyte(Ormoc City, Jaro, Merida, Palompon, Tabango, Leyte, Capoocan, Carigara, Tunga, Bato, Matalom, City of Baybay), #Cebu(City of Bogo, Tabogon, Medellin, Daanbantayan), #SouthernLeyte(Malitbog, SanFrancisco, Pintuyan, San Ricardo, Liloan, City of Maasin, Tomas Oppus, Bontoc), #Bohol(Baclayon, Corella, Antequera, Calape, Lila, Alburquerque, Loay, Loboc, Sikatuna, Balilihan, San Isidro, Tubigon, Catigbian, Batuan, Sevilla, Bilar, Carmen, Jagna, Garcia Hernandez, Valencia, Dimiao, Sierra Bullones), #NegrosOccidental(Cauayan, Candoni, City of Sipalay, Hinoba-an, Ilog), #NegrosOriental(Basay, Santa Catalina, City of Bayawan, Siaton, Zamboanguita, Dauin), #EasternSamar(Guiuan, Salcedo, Mercedes, Quinapondan, General Macarthur, Hernani, Llorente, Balangkayan, Maydolong, City of Borongan, San Julian, Sulat, Taft, Can-avid, Dolores, Oras, San Policarpo), #Samar(Calbayog City, Motiong, Paranas), #Palawan(Busuanga and Coron) within the next one (1) to two (2) hours.

The above conditions are being experienced in #Leyte(Villaba, Matag-ob, Kananga, Inopacan, Hindang, Hilongos), #Cebu(Borbon), #SouthernLeyte(Limasawa, Macrohon, Padre Burgos), #Bohol(Panglao, Dauis, Loon, Maribojoc, Tagbilaran City, Cortes), #Siquijor, #OccidentalMindoro(Paluan, Sablayan, Calintaan), #Palawan(San Vicente, Roxas, Dumaran, Araceli, Taytay, El Nido, Magsaysay, Cuyo and Agutaya) which may persist within one (1) to two (2) hours and may affect nearby areas.

All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides. Keep monitoring for updates," the weather advisory added.
